Production method – traditional method of production in stainless steel, separate fermentation, aging of the blend in classic Caucasian oak barriques for 4 months. The Areni variety is cultivated in the southern winemaking region, in Vayots Dzor, in the village of Khachik, at more than 1700 m above sea level.
The color is intense, bright, crystal clear, dark ruby ocher, with a shiny rim .
Aromatics – intense, peppery notes are clearly expressed, especially fresh ground black pepper, light bay leaf and interesting notes of dried mint. Elegant shades of oak aging are well noticeable, as well as notes of juicy prunes.
The taste is balanced, with fresh, young, smooth tannins in flavor, with a rather long aftertaste.
